Each year, the ASRM Scientific Congress & Expo brings together the innovators defining the future of reproductive medicine. It’s where science meets practice and where our field asks how we can deliver better outcomes for more families.

This year, Maven Clinic is helping lead the conversation. As the world’s largest virtual clinic for women’s and family health, we’re advancing the evidence base for digital fertility care through one of the most comprehensive collections of digital health and behavioral research featured at ASRM 2025.

Across seven research presentations and a keynote at ASRM INNOVATE, our team is sharing new data that shows how earlier, evidence-based digital support can help people reach fertility care sooner and make each clinic visit more meaningful for both patients and providers.

Making the Case for Innovation in Fertility Care

Our Chief Medical Officer Dr. Neel Shah will deliver a keynote on “The Case for Innovation in Fertility Care” at ASRM INNOVATE. His talk explores how the field can evolve from a reactive, clinic-centered approach to one that is proactive and person-centered—supported by advances in wearables, artificial intelligence, and digital technology that can help identify fertility needs earlier and guide people to the right care faster.

What the Research Shows

Maven is presenting seven abstracts at ASRM, including new findings that highlight how digital tools can transform the fertility journey before a patient ever enters the clinic. Our research spans topics from male fertility and at-home sperm testing to digital education, ovulation tracking, and equitable access to early care.

Here’s a closer look at some of our findings:

  • Impact of Digital Health Education on Behaviors That Promote Natural Conception: Many people start their fertility journey unsure of what actually improves their chances of conceiving. We found that 64% of our members said Maven’s digital education helped them learn how to get pregnant without treatment, and those users were more likely to take evidence-based actions like tracking ovulation and making lifestyle changes.
  • Improving Ovulation Tracking with Use of a Digital Fertility Program: Understanding ovulation timing is key to conception, but tracking can be confusing without clinical support. 65% of Maven members said our digital program helped them track ovulation—most often by getting started with tracking, using apps, calendars, and test strips—to better identify their fertile window and improve their chances of conceiving.
  • Preferences for Semen Testing Timing and Setting: Male factors account for nearly half of infertility cases, yet men are often brought into the process too late. We found that more than 50% of men who completed a semen test said they wished they’d tested sooner, suggesting that easier access to at-home testing could help couples reach the right diagnosis faster and avoid unnecessary costs.
  • Understanding Semen Testing Attitudes and Interest in Digital Support: Among men at risk for infertility, nearly two-thirds said they would test without a doctor’s recommendation, with curiosity as the top motivator and cost as the biggest barrier. 83% expressed interest in digital tools like provider messaging and educational content for fertility support.
  • Exploring Socioeconomic Factors on Attitudes Toward Male Fertility Testing: Semen testing is most common among urban and higher-income groups, but there is strong willingness to test among suburban men and non-Hispanic Black and Hispanic men, who also report lower stigma. Interest in digital support remains high across all groups (78–96%), with about half open to at-home testing.

Our findings show how Maven’s digital programs can help patients start sooner, engage more deeply, and make every visit count. These findings not only strengthen the clinical case for digital-first fertility support but also reflect how our product strategy is grounded in rigorous, real-world evidence.

From Research to Real-World Impact

Our research is directly informing how we design and deliver care across the Maven platform, from Fertility Coaching and in-app Ovulation Tracking to at-home semen testing. Each study builds the scientific foundation for a more proactive, equitable fertility experience that supports both patients and clinics.

By helping people enter care more informed, engaged, and ready, Maven supports providers in focusing on treatment rather than triage, maximizing every visit in a system where time and access are limited.

Meet Maven at ASRM

Our research reflects Maven’s ongoing commitment to evidence-based innovation: demonstrating how digital tools can extend the reach of fertility care, improve early engagement, and support clinics in achieving better outcomes. Together with our peers across the field, we’re building a stronger, more connected foundation for the future of fertility care.
